Using the Long Island benchmark as a reference
NYSERDA's latest surveyed Long Island residential propane benchmark is $4.339 per gallon for July 2026. Long Island combines Nassau and Suffolk counties, and NYSERDA notes that its full-service residential credit-price accounts typically use about 1,100 gallons or more per year. It is a regional benchmark, not a guaranteed quote for a specific home.
At $4.339 per gallon, a purely mathematical 150-gallon example would be about $650.85. A real quote can be higher or lower and may include account-specific terms.

Compare gallons, not only tank size
